Breeding Philosophy

We aim to produce Drents that begin as healthy and thoroughly socialized puppies and develop into versatile sporting dogs and family companions. This is accomplished through careful selection of bloodlines, extensive testing (eyes, hips, elbows, hunting, temperament, conformation), and intensive early socialization of puppies. Clients are carefully vetted and paired with puppies according to factors such as puppy temperament and conformation, as well as client living circumstances and purposes for owning a Drent.
